Tricension has continued steady growth in both the Microsoft Business Solutions (Dynamics CRM, SharePoint, and SQL Reporting Services) and the custom .net and SilverLight application development practices.

We are seeing a trend toward an initial Business benefit discovery phase where we work with a client to analyze the opportunity for ROI followed by phased implementations of the solution.

In addition, Tricension continues to deliver solutions using the Microsoft Dynamics CRM platform for line of business solutions not traditionally supported by classic CRM applications. Use of the Dynamics CRM platform for extended business solutions is termed xRM. With xRM, clients are realizing lower development costs, solutions delivered to the market faster, and ongoing independence from traditional IT bottlenecks. Examples of xRM applications built in Dynamics CRM include:

  • New customer on-boarding process automation and workflow management

  • Training and certification process automation and workflow management

  • Subscription service automation and workflow management

  • Claims process automation and workflow management

  • Professional Services project and support services management

Our application development practice has delivered improved application capability and performance enhancements in financial services and healthcare applications by upgrading the solutions from the 2.0 version of SilverLight to the 3.0 platform.

Our Microsoft solutions hosting business has seen steady growth with a notable uptick in interest in Hosted SharePoint and Microsoft Office SharePoint Server. The clear benefits to a hosted solution include the ability to quickly deliver business value while avoiding a large capital expenditure.

Lammers Consulting Group Continues Growth as Tricension

Lammers Consulting Group, an innovator of Technology Business Solutions is now Tricension. The organization was formed by Mike Lammers, Scott Thompson and Wes Weeks. With more than 70 years as technology and business specialists, they help organizations leverage Tricension’s approach to business optimization through technology.

“Using proven methods, we help clients of all sizes accomplish their goals by integrating technology with their business objectives to produce sustainable results,” Mike Lammers, Tricension president, said.

Tricension works with C-level managers in mid-market companies who have a high level of frustration with their current technology because it is not supporting their organizations in the right way. Tricension also serves well-managed young companies with a vision that needs to be supported by technology.

“Common issues we see are inefficiencies created by a company’s failure to have focus and processes to collaborate,” said Lammers. “In addition, we see lost opportunity due to executives having only anecdotal information and not empirical data. They are basically running their companies on opinion and gut feel.”

Through their proven methods, Tricension also specializes in delivering solutions efficiently in large organizations. The company’s leadership has established a proven network of alliances that allows it to offer a broad set of solutions and create immediate capacity for large-scale projects.

“A typical project can take 6 to 8 months for an internal team to complete, because they have competing priorities.” said Lammers. “With our top-tier domain expertise, ability to focus, leverage experience, and our methods of delivery, Tricension can do it in half the time.”

Mike Lammers serves as the company’s chief business architect, Scott Thompson is Tricension’s chief enterprise architect and Wes Weeks is the company’s chief application architect. The company has six associates and also partnered with Matt Hodes, an expert in business process improvement using Lean Six Sigma methods. Tricension is fast becoming the Midwest’s largest business process and technology solutions firm.

“We felt it was time to expand our reach and our brand,” said Lammers. “We saw an opportunity to market our proprietary business solutions approach to what has been traditionally served as purely technical implementations.”
