Practice Executive - Business Process Improvement

Matt Hodes is an operations executive with 20 years experience delivering innovative solutions that leverage information technology to drive business results. 

The bulk of Matt’s 20-year career was spent with Cerner Corp., the leading supplier of healthcare IT solutions. During his time there, he was a long-term contributor of new business models and emerging IT solutions that helped grow revenues for Cerner from $150 million to $1.5 billion.

As an executive in Cerner’s intellectual property organization, Matt directed the design and deployment of solutions for healthcare organizations. He managed the process optimization consulting practice, which created a holistic data-driven approach to operational and clinical process improvement. Matt also successfully built and managed a Cerner specialty team to bridge gaps between software functionality and client expectations. This team led Cerner’s consulting organization in associate retention, operating earnings and generated a four-fold increase in the number of clients willing to give positive references.

Matt has a bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology from Creighton University. He is certified by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists.
