Michael Lammers’ 35-year career in information technology includes strategic direction, software development and solutions implementations for FORTUNE 500 companies and mid-market businesses. He has a history of developing IT solutions for clients that save money, increase productivity and generate sales.
Michael founded Tricension after five years at H&R Block providing executive IT leadership to the company’s financial advisor and Outreach and Business Development divisions. Before that, Mike led successful data management and business intelligence initiatives for two start-up companies, with one of his clients being the financial services arm of a FORTUNE 500 company.
Prior to that, Michael was one of the first employees of Cerner Corp., a $1.5 billion company and the leading provider of healthcare IT solutions. During his 15 years at Cerner, he gained an in-depth understanding of enterprise system implementations for healthcare providers in the United States and abroad.
Michael has graduate education in organizational behavior and project management and has been a participant in the Security Industry Association at the Wharton School of Business of the University of Pennsylvania. He has a bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology from Creighton University. He is certified by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists.
Chief Enterprise Architect
As a Senior Enterprise and Solution Architect, John has deployed solutions for some of the largest commercial and federal enterprise clients, leading the management, enhancement, and tuning of multiple companies’ foundation and on premise and cloud environments and systems.
John is experienced in defining large, scalable, highly available environments (Cloud (multi-regional), cross datacenter on-premise and hosted server farms, multi-terabyte data warehouses, etc.). John has a background in specifying platform and application customizations and has led many efforts to fine tune those environments while applying best practices and enhancing performance and scalability. John has led and worked with multiple Infrastructure Engineering teams while developing expanded capabilities across global geographies, considering capacity and functionality issues across all systems.
John has worked with cloud and on-premise infrastructure specialists to analyze and design solutions to meet customer needs, backup and recovery windows, integration requirements, and network optimization parameters. John has made multiple recommendations for infrastructure configurations and hardware topologies to best fit project requirements and customer needs.
In his career, John was providing leadership and oversight within many different markets including financial oversight and regulation, healthcare, insurance, telecommunication, and manufacturing. John has been an architect for companies including AT&T, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Common Securitization Solutions, IBM Global Services, Lockheed Martin, Nationwide Insurance, Deloitte & Touché, and Bridgestone.
