Mike Lammers

CEO/Chief Business Architect

Michael Lammers’ 35-year career in information technology includes strategic direction, software development and solutions implementations for FORTUNE 500 companies and mid-market businesses. He has a history of developing IT solutions for clients that save money, increase productivity and generate sales.

Michael founded Tricension after five years at H&R Block providing executive IT leadership to the company’s financial advisor and Outreach and Business Development divisions. Before that, Mike led successful data management and business intelligence initiatives for two start-up companies, with one of his clients being the financial services arm of a FORTUNE 500 company.

Prior to that, Michael was one of the first employees of Cerner Corp., a $1.5 billion company and the leading provider of healthcare IT solutions. During his 15 years at Cerner, he gained an in-depth understanding of enterprise system implementations for healthcare providers in the United States and abroad.

Michael has graduate education in organizational behavior and project management and has been a participant in the Security Industry Association at the Wharton School of Business of the University of Pennsylvania. He has a bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology from Creighton University. He is certified by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists.

I called tricension for a small app idea that I had in mind.. WOW!!!! they were super efficient in returning my call. I spoke with Mike Lammers. he was soo knowledgeable and helpful, he understood immediately what I was looking for, he did not oversell me a load of goods that would not be beneficial. He gave me pricing options that were in my budget and he took the initiative to research a web address... and to see if there were any other businesses like the one I pitched to him.. I was very impressed.

Having worked with CEO Mike Lammers and many of the Tricension associates, I know the amazing talent that this organization holds. Without exception, this team is focused on delivering their vision for their clients. More recently I have worked with Mike and members of his Tricension team on a project focused on taking the Tricension Passionate Heart and changing lives of very poor people in Colombia, South America. The LAUGHH Foundation - Tricension Partnership has delivered over $100,000 of funds that are 100% used to provide medications, medical devices and life-changing motivational education to the poorest of the poor around Bucaramanga, Colombia, treating more than 1500 patients each year. Their marketing team has inspired motivating maketing materials, their busdiness relatiionships have grown into donations, their event team has helped drive the Annual LAUGHH Foundation Barbecue and Fundraiser and Mike, himself, has not only donated all of the barbecue dinner food but he has also served as the master barbecuer for over 150 fundraiser attendees each year - receiving RAVE reviews. This underscores the 'HEART' of Tricension - making a difference for their clients on the business side, and making a difference for people on their philanthropic side. We contracted with Tricension to take on something of a unique challenge with our firm; importing data from a variety of database types into our format. We gave Tricension some basic information on the process that we were using within our company and no documentation on the database itself. They have done an excellent job of familiarizing themselves with our database and other database types, creating their own processes to more efficiently import the data, and working with customers to keep them updated on progress.They have an excellent approach to project management and have done a great job of keeping our customers updated on progress. Our business fluctuates quite a bit seasonally, and they have done a great job adding staff to the projects during busy times and dialing back during slow periods. Although the cost per hour is higher for their service, we save money and provide better service by utilizing Tricension due to their staffing flexibility.
